Electric vehicles have fewer moving parts — but they still need regular maintenance. We keep your EV in peak condition so you can focus on driving, not worrying.
EVs eliminate oil changes, spark plugs, timing belts, and exhaust work — but they still require scheduled maintenance to stay reliable, safe, and performing at their best. Battery health, brake fluid, tires, cabin filters, and cooling systems all need regular attention.
As a certified NexDrive service centre, we follow manufacturer-specific EV maintenance schedules and have the tools and training to service every major EV make on the market.
We perform a comprehensive battery state-of-health assessment — measuring cell balance, capacity, and degradation trends to give you full visibility into your battery's condition.
EV motors, inverters, power electronics, and high-voltage batteries rely on advanced liquid cooling and thermal management systems to maintain proper operating temperatures, efficiency, performance, and battery longevity. We inspect coolant condition and levels, check for leaks, test system performance, and service or flush coolant circuits according to manufacturer-recommended intervals. Proper thermal system maintenance helps protect critical high-voltage components, prevent overheating, maintain battery health, and support reliable long-term EV performance.
EVs use regenerative braking to help slow the vehicle and recover energy, which means the conventional friction brakes are often used less frequently. This reduced use can lead to brake rotor corrosion, seized or sticking brake pads, and restricted caliper movement, while brake fluid can still absorb moisture and degrade over time. We perform comprehensive brake service including brake pad and caliper servicing, cleaning and lubricating caliper sliders and pad contact points, brake rotor inspection and machining when appropriate, and brake fluid testing and servicing to help maintain safe, smooth, and reliable braking performance.
EVs are typically heavier than comparable gas-powered vehicles due to the high-voltage battery, while instant electric motor torque can place additional stress on the tires during acceleration. These characteristics can cause EV tires to wear faster and develop uneven wear if tire pressures, rotation intervals, suspension, or wheel alignment are not properly maintained. Regular tire rotations, tire pressure checks, tread inspections, and four-wheel alignment checks are important for maximizing tire life and maintaining handling, traction, and efficiency.
